ctafoya Report post Posted April 15 I bought the original knife about 22 years ago. I put it through a ton of abuse and finally broke it after using it all weekend as a hatchet. Threw it in a drawer and forgot about it for several years. Came across it and sent it into Gerber to repair it and they sent me a new one. Its been sitting in the safe ever since.
