I got a 27 mule deer tag and am excited for it! It’s been about 5 years since I have got to hunt in my home state.  I know there is a river that runs through the unit, however is water still a good way to hunt this unit? 
 

 

Also did any fellow members get this unit or at  least a dream unit!

I drew a rifle tag for this year. Last year was the first time I didn’t get drawn when I put in for rifle deer. 1999-2007 I was drawn each year, then I didn’t put in 08’ or 09’,  2010-2023 I was drawn every year. We mixed and matched some units but all less desired hunts I guess you could say. After finding some big bucks in the archery hunt in January, I can’t wait to get out there in November.

Yes ive been told its a great unit my dad used to hunt it in the 80s! I have limited scouting time but am excited to see what it has to offer

27 has been shot out by OTC spike army.
