Coach Report post Posted 10 hours ago Probably most of you already know about this, but in case it helps someone I wanted to bring it to your attention. My wife posted a car for sale on Craigslist, and within minutes she had 5-10 texts. What they do is say that they have cash in hand and are willing to buy the car, but they want you to run a specific background check on it. The check can be $30-$60 dollars depending on the site. They are the ones running the background check sites. Just giving a heads-up. I did a little research and it's a well known scam. If you are selling and you come across one of these guys, don't fall for it.
Sky Island junkie Report post Posted 8 hours ago Yeah I posted a 2013 Ram in December and I had all kinds of BS thrown at me but one that I hadn’t heard of before was they ask if you have a carfax and even if you do they want you to go to do another one with a company that likely is run by them. I got so sick of the BS I decided to go to the Carvana website and follow all the directions to get an offer and I was surprised they offered $14800 for the truck. I was asking $16500 and my rock bottom was $15000 so it was a no brainer to go that route. Was one of the easiest transactions I’ve done. Well worth taking $200 less
