Barnesboy Report post Posted yesterday at 02:26 AM Good evening everyone, Am in 5A right now trying to help my 57 year old neighbor fill his bull tag. We’ve been here since opening day and yesterday finally found some elk but one group was all cows and the other group had 2 bulls and they were 1300 yards away and not stopping. He isn’t real picky just looking to fill the freezer. We’ve done a lil hiking but can’t go far cause he has bad knees and hips. We’ve hunted around Blue Ridge and seen nothing but people opening day and then went down lower and that’s where we saw the elk. Went back today to try and get back on them and there was more hunters down there driving around then the day before. Barnesboy Report post Posted 4 hours ago We spent all day down by Jacks Canyon and saw 8 cows all day. Then on the way out tonight the tension pulley for the power steering decided to leave the chat. LOL so drove 18 miles back to camp with no power steering. Tomorrow we’re gonna take it easy in the morning and do something’s around camp and try to fix the pulley.
