Anyone fished there in the last couple days? How has the wind been? Is there any kind of a bite , for bass?

Fkg 3 tournaments of 100+ boats every weekend.  GF and Forrest service really needs to figure out that moving fish at that rate - especially March and April can’t help our fisheries.  Good lord figure out a way let those fish spawn and protect.  Immediate catch and release or limit tournaments or both.  Do something before it’s too late and out lanes ar elite our deer population.

In the late 90s the tournaments had twice as many boats as today and the bass survived

I don’t think these lakes had near the pressure on them from tournaments 40 years ago - I remember an occasional tournament. Not 2 and 3 a weekend at the same lake. But if you say so….  Plus Roosevelt sucked so bad they put the slot in for a number of years.

All stars used to get 200 boats in about 1997. And there was some pipe hitters in the mix

Right but then was there 2 or 3 every weekend before and after? I don’t recall this much sustained pressure
