Wanted 3rd or 4th Gen 4Runner

Kicking around the idea of building a dedicated hunting truck. Looking for a 3rd or 4th Gen 4runner as a base. Not looking for a road princess or one with a million miles.

My 3rd Gen is still available.  It’s in the classifieds.  My Dad has a 4th Gen and I’m happy to answer any questions on the pros and cons of one vs the other.  You’re a bigger dude and I’d probly lean toward the 4th gen if I were you but the size of the 3rd gen shines when crawling around in the hills.  Prices are getting more realistic in them these days.  Post covid they were unjustifiably high. Also, consider the gx 470 instead of the 4th gen.  The headroom in the 470 is sooo much better than the 4th gen and prices aren’t a that much different on them.
