me and my cousin are going out to do some rabbit hunting close to town just on our quads, where is somewhere like and hour or less away where we can just get into loads of em'.

You could head a little further east & try hunting in the rolling hills just south of Superior. I've probably kill 25-30 of 'em out there w/ my bow over the last 4 years. Just don't expect to have more than about 45 minutes of decent hunting right at sun-up & about the same right before complete dark with the temperatures we've been having.
