Apache/Roosevelt Report

Recommended Posts

My dad and I went to Apache yesterday morning. Lake was a little breezy all morning. Water temps were around 64. We caught 9 bass (2 smallies). We couldn't find any real pattern. Tried jerk baits, cranks, senkos, and drop shot. Most came on drop shot. It was good morning to be out and not get blowed off.

This morning we went to Roosey and what a beautiful morning to be on the water. Couldn't get a top water bite at all. I went to a suspending jerk bait and it was on. I caught 9 on it and had another 7 come unbuttoned. After that bite died switched to senko and caught another 2 and lost 3 more in the trees. My dad ended up with 7 all on senkos and ended up only losing 1 fish. So a total of 18 caught and off the the water a little after 10 a.m. We had a great time with good fishing.
