Red Rabbit Report post Posted March 15, 2011 On some of my previous ventures, I had seen this small arch a mile off the road. Took the time this last weekend to check it out. Turns out it is guarded by this stone vulture . Proof positive that the condors inhabited the area many, many years ago and died out as they had nothing but sandstone to eat . Vulture Rock Ugly Head Buzzard Arch, that which it was guarding. Didn't see any fossilized eggs though . While driving on the road that evening, a group of muley bucks crossed in the headlights, some with small racks, some had dropped, nothing huge. Doug
