Hunterjohnny Report post Posted September 21, 2011 So any one heading up to Unit 22 next week for turkey season? All the chatter has been about those lucky ones who are elk hunting. I'm heading up on my very first turkey hunt and am more excited than I thought I would be. I guess it all feels the same as a hunt gets closer. Havent put a plan together yet, just starting where I have seen them before. Plenty of water and thick stuff so they will have a fighting chance. I might try the trick where you fall asleep under a tree and when you wake up there they are, works on deer too.
