Bow in Mexico

Recommended Posts

I have a Turkey hunt in Mexico in a couple of weeks. I want to carry my bow for the hunt but I am curious about what it takes to bring a bow across the border. i can't find any info on it. Any insight is appreciated. The last thing I want to do is have to leave too many dollars worth of equipment south of the border.

You should'nt have any problems with your bow. You don't have to have any paper work like you do with a firearm.

There is no transportation permit required for your bow, however you must have the hunting agreement or contract with you when you cross and at all times while traveling in Mexico. If you need any more info such what information should be in the contract please let me know.Blessings.

grizzly, is not "THEY", is "US". The Dept. of Agriculture, the USFWS etc etc. If you ever go and hunt in Mexico, please make sure you are legal with us the authority from U.S.A. God bless.
