Lorraine Cline Mountain Bread

Wifes rockin the yeast bucket today. Now that's what I call some kick butt bread.

Charro beans in the pot all day, fillet mignon grilled steaks n homemade bread.

Life's good.

Oh and a whiskey coke.

MMMM looks good. You cant just post up a pic like that and not give the recipe. That would be like posting up a photo of a trophy deer or elk and not telling everyone the exact location.

I make that bread in the winter time in a cast iron skillet while sitting around the fire pit. Slice it open, layer on some lettuce, tomatoes, green chili, baby swiss and whole grain mustard and thinly sliced elk /wild hog / pork / chicken / or what every dead beast you have.

 

and the Whiskey....fo sho. But the kind that usually is delivered at night in the false bottom of the trunk of a souped up black dodge. :ph34r:

DB cast iron bread we do as well and it rocks.
