hey Mike, when ya gonna let me come up there and smoke one of those Columbians with ya?? A couple of those bucks are REALLY nice deer!!

All I need to add to the list are those pesky blacktails and then I can be called "DEERSLAM" as well!! I've got all the others out of the way already!

Gorgeous deer! I cut my "hunting" teeth on those deer, growing up in the Willamette Valley in Oregon.

 

I think that Columbian Blacktails are the 3rd most handsome deer, Coues being #1 and Sitka being #2.

The season has been over for about a month now and these bucks come down during the rut to find the does around this area. A no hunting area

Deerslam, thanks for the great pictures. Like azpackhorse, I spent all my early years hunting columbia blacktails. I was born/raised in Olympia, WA. and hunted them till I was 26 years old then moved all over the country. I love blacktails and it is really hard to kill a monster buck especially if you are hunting brush country............thanks again...........Allen......

Thanks for the pictures...They are great. I have never hunted them , always wanted to. I was in basic training at Ft Lewis WA and saw lots of them. They are beautiful animals.
