Sam Report post Posted May 16, 2014 Yep - Reduced Recoil Remington Core Lokt is made in 30-06, 308 and .270. My daughter started with the reduced recoil in .270 when she was 10 - no problem at all. She shoots regular loads now. Use these and then change to regular loads when he is ready. They have less recoil than a .243 and are plenty good out to 200 yards.
