dcshorthairs Report post Posted December 21, 2014 My dad and I are seriously looking into going to Texas next year for a deer hunt. Don't care whether it's a mule deer or white tail. Looking for something decently priced and good on success rates. I don't need a monster but a good management buck would be awesome. Also know I don't want to break the bank but willing to pay for the experience. Does anyone have any recommendations? MULEPACKHUNTER Report post Posted December 21, 2014 I would hit the net and start making a list. There is some great hunting there. I have a friend there and will hit it one day. You can hunt many different species for cheap and still hit a good ranch as well for your deer. I believe the hogs and exotics are free to hunt if they are on private.
