Dialing in my 300 Win Mag

Had a break installed on the 300 WM feels like a 308 now😀Here are 20 shots with the new break Center group is 200 grain SMK with 75 grains of IMR 7828 the rest are Berger 210 LRBT with 75 grains of h1000. What kind of brake did you put on?

It is a VAIS Break that was machined and installed by a member from this site. Here is a pic of it and some pics of some steel we shot at 1125 yards, the three larger splashes are from the 300 WIN it took 7 shots to get there but a ton of fun to hit from that range, that was the first time I shot past 600 yards. It is addicting.

Very impressive 1125 yd group! What were the weather conditions, especially wind direction and speed?

There was ZERO wind the guys I was shooting with had the Kestrel 5700 and was reading 0 to 1.1 on their meter about 70 degrees if I recall. I will say a 1 to 2 mile an hour left to right will push that bullet a tad . No wind made it much easier.
