The new MasterCard will be serviced by capital one. Definitely this! I used a totally different card to apply for the first time in several years. I just read through more of the paperwork last night, after getting another big envelope in the mail. The thing that bothers me the most is that the new card is cancelling any Silver or Black status you have and making you start from scratch to start earning the various level-associated rewards. We've held Black status for a few years and now I have to start over. Its enough to piss off the Pope, as my dad used to say! In the end, I'll probably keep the MC and keep earning points.
