I'll bet he'd of been just fine if he hadn't got hung up on the under carriage of the truck and drug for another 20 miles before we saw him when we stopped for gas. I sure hated to smash him in his head with that rock to finish him off, but I didn't want to see him suffer anymore. But I do have to admit those were the most tasty little backstraps I've ever eaten I figured the least I could do was have the good side of him mounted so I could honor his life and enjoy his memories forever!
