New stove (backpack)

Recommended Posts

Took this new piece of kit out on our last trip and it worked out sweet. It’s a little bulky but perfect for two guys. It’s called a guilly kettle and this size boils enough water for two full size mountain house meals and a small amount left over for putting the fire out. It weighs almost the same as my pocket rocket with fuel for 3 days.
boils in 4 minutes

I would guess 10 in tall by 6 in diameter as you see it but the base comes off and tucks into the top vessel. you can use the base as a little BBQ as well. Its kind of like a rocket stove, you can see the flame coming out of the top. very cool design and I guess the European military used these way back. This came from a family owned UK company and its hand made.
