Could you post some pics?

I am in the middle of moving so everything is in boxes but I will try to get some posted. The stock is the weatherby desert camo and the barrel has a black mat finish. The scope is the TDS. dont really want to sell but have a baby coming. We took down 2 bulls this year with it 1 at 513 yards with 1 shot by my 13 year old son and another at 596 by a buddy of mine 1 shot. Both bulls dropped in their tracks, it has some knock down and is a pleasure to shoot even off a bench.

I will post a pic by Mon. 9/1, you can go to weatherby's web site and look at the gun, then just add a swarovski 6-18X50 Tds and a harris bipod.

Tontocreeker's son and I killed two bulls in less than 2 minutes from 525 & 600 yds respectively. Even that little 115 grain bullet just hammered those bulls. This is a fantastic gun to shoot, I also have one similar to it, just didn't take it on that hunt.

It is probably one of the sweetest guns to shoot that I have ever fired. Being the ultra light I was concerned about the recoil, but it kicks less than a .270. Out of the box it shot a 1/4" group off the bipod at 100yds. I originally was shooting the barnes 115 gr. triple shocks but they just got too hard to find so I switch to the 115 ballistic tips and going by the ballistic charts it performs better than the barnes down range. I did a ton of research before buying this rig and I have not been disappointed. I am really bummed that I need to sell it! 257 is right I new this was a great round but until my son and him took their bulls at such long distances and put them down like a bus hit them I wasnt sure it could do it, 257 also took a coues last year with his .257 at 450yds and it was amazing the damage it did!! The gun is in Phoenix so if you want to look at it let me know I am down here working. Just give me a call at 602-292-6387 and we can hook up.

Thanks for the interest.

Kevin, I dont know how much the scope weighs, but those things are LIGHT!!! I REALLY wanted one, and thats what I modeled "El Chupacabra" off of. I really like the flutes in those gun. Just a little touch they add that fits nicely! They are great rigs.

Never put it on a scale, but fully outfitted it is still fairly lite. You can pack around all day with it and it doesnt start to feel like a chunk of concrete. My 14 year old son can pack it all day with no problems. It holds 3 in the box and 1 in the chamber, but all you need is 1!!
