Awesome, congrats. I had a very similar hunt to this one a few years ago.
-
This is not an exaggeration, and some of them post how many they use.
-
Yeah but when the guides have 200 cameras per guide the DIY hunter cant compete with them. Just go to unit 9 or 13b and you'll see what I mean.
-
Did anyone happen to hunt 6b this weekend or were the roads closed like the forest service website says?
-
I saw a gobbler fanning out with two hens a couple days before the junior season started. In another unit I went to I called but didnt hear any. It was kind of windy when I called so that didn't help.
-
I usually get my first gobbles around 5am which is like 20 minutes before light, but it wouldn't surprise me if they gobbled earlier. The latest that I've gotten a gobble in the evening is like 10 minutes after dark, but most of the time I hear them 30 minutes or less before dark.

I was wondering the same thing. It seems weird that it would still be closed.

Good on the Arizona Deer Association for doing that.
-
Sounds like a fun time

Sir royal, the sooner they ban them the less that we will have to listen to you talk to yourself.
-
No. Sir royal is just trying to extend this thread as long as possible.

I agree with this statement. You know outfitters want trail cams. That's why they buy 200 plus of them per outfitter.
-
I can't wait until they ban trail cams. Huntharder you made solid points.
-
I totally agree with this statement
-
The people that want a trail cam ban also tell the truth, you just don't want to hear it.
-
I can't wait until they ban trail cams. Also for all of the people that support a trail cam ban or regulation, get your comments into rulemaking@azgfd.gov by April 11th.
-
It's actually 1274 for a ban or some type of regulation, and only 1200 for no ban. 832+442=1274, I think that the public has spoken.

I heard that the airport up in flagstaff got a foot with this storm since yesterday.
-
About time they do something with trail cams. From how I read it a total ban is still a possibility, being that this new proposal doesn't replace the December proposal. It looks like they just added the quarter mile from a water source as another option to the proposal, or a combination of a trail cam season with a quarter mile from water rule.

Nice buck and pic

Hopefully you get it figured out. Atleast you have the receipts.
