David took his to clay at mollogon taxidermy and had a full body mount done looks cool as all can be .Gilbert and David are up on elk hunts this week but when he gets back ill post it .Its truly something to see.

So much to learn.I did figure that the gun seems to run best at the .05 off the lands that barns recommend and didn't like the .025 at a time barns recommend after that and it absolutely hates hornady.maybe I can talk the wife into a early Christmas / birthday present and get the lab radar.with only a few weeks till my hunt with dad I'm going to keep my shots to 100 yards for now and ill see what it does if I run it out to 200 at the range .

That leads to next question .lab radar or magneto speed ?I have no experience with lab radar but my buddy has a magneto speed and I've used it once .I'm in the market for a chronograph any tips or pros and cons.

For you guys that shoot long range what should I be looking for in group size at 100 .I get smallest group possible .just looking at what you guys are running before you start shooting past that.I've currently got two groups in the 1/2 moa at a hundred mark should I keep tweeking the loads or start to go to 2 and 3 and see what they do.time permitting I'm going back out to Rio salado this weekend. We have another kid claim there batch of shells.only a few hundred left .if your kids need shells there free.

I think at some point every one has it happen usually not a gun .we find gloves and such all the time I've found several trial cams in 23 before must have bounced out of a sxs .my dad lost a spotting scope in 6a one minute its in his pack next its gone lucky it was cheap.on my first elk hunt I lost my wallet we were on quads and covered lots of ground i shot a cow and was home when I figured it out I had to go back up and hike all the spots we had been brought my rifle just in case I ran into some cridders and on the last trial I found it next to a pile of bear shoot.lesson learned don't carry wallet on hunts and check your zippers and the ground around you before you make a move.

Anybody running anything besides the 45 cal powerbelt let in your cva paramount or paramount pro just looking to see if anyone has tried something different with good success

Good luck on your hunt .I was out with my paramount pro last week shooting 112gr by weight new paramount high limit and was 1and a half moa in the wind on Sunday .made the 300 yd plate ring on a bet from the bench next to me.

We couldn't see any obvious bullet holes or predator marks so that might be why.it was cool of her to tell us about the sheep that were at water and we got there just in time to see a few was cool to see for sure.

Buddy's boy got a good ram 4 or 5 hundred yard shot .I had to work so I couldn't join in.kid looks straight outa duck dynasty but is only 30 something and got a tag his dad has been waiting for twice as long

Your lucky to get the salvage tag .we were out in quartzite last year for my buddies son's big horn hunt scouting and ran across a lovely lady officer and she put us in the right spot and said a sheep was down .we asked if we could salvage it and got a big nope .I guess its at there discretion.here is the pics .

Had a 05 v6er 286000 miles on it when I traded it for a 12 jeep big mistake yota is a rock solid car 6er is plenty and you Damm near can't get them stuck.plus you can fold seats and sleep in them in a pinch no can do in jeep and no lights come on every Damm month for some stupid code.

Some people are just ashats.sorry to hear .we quit hunting some spots years ago in 22 because of this .you get back to camp and your geni or anything that they could steal was gone .had a guy walk into our camp and do a look around and the wife cought him .he left in a hurry when he saw the 357 she had in her hand.
