About Me

While I have bow hunted for over 35 years and have harvested many big game animals in Colorado, Nebraska, Kansas to name a few, the Arizona Coues whitetailed deer is a special BIG GAME, species to hunt.

January is a special time to bowhunt especially someone from Colorado as my bow hunts here, were over in late September eventhough I did harvest two WT bucks, one in Nebraska and the other in Kansas in Oct and early November. My Colorado bull elk made it three for three. I can understand the "snow bird" concept, when it gets colder in the north and the southern states become very attractive because of warmer temperatures. What a great combination, deer hunting and warmer weather. A no brainer for sure.

I am on the Board of Directors of the Colorado Bowhunters Association, the CBA, and have been the CBA Liaison to the Colorado Division of Wildlife for the past 5 years. I just signed on for my sixth year as I am passionate about bowhunting and I want to make it the best sport it can be by being an example on one who cares and is willing to serve.

I see many of you are passionate hunters also and it will be our goal to set a good example and to past this great sport of bow hunting on to the younger generation and to those that are just entering the sport.
