Father daughter hunting is awesome some of my best hunts are with my daughters

I have heard from friends and other forums that AZGFD is trying to remove the smallmouth from Willow Springs. I have never had to much of a problem with what game and fish have changed or done but if this is true it could possibly be the dumbest thing I have heard. We fish this lake almost exclusive every summer for these fish as do ALOT of others. I emailed/called game and fish to see if this is true without a response yet. Anyone know the truth on this topic and if it is happening is there any way to stop it?

Getting ready for another archery hunt to start. The last time I never sat water but thinking of trying it this time with the dryer hotter conditions. My question for guys that have killed em on water or are in the know what time of day or stretch of day is usually best first 4 hours, last four hours or midday? tia

I had a 6A archery tag once Spent 4 weeks running cameras and checking water. I learned more in 3 hours glassing from a high spot 3 days before season than I did in the 4 weeks of cameras and driving around.

I have killed around 8 bulls all with 100 grain 3 blade fixed usually wac em or wasp boss

I hunt archery a fair amount and can tell you with my set up I have to shoot each broadhead to verify what's going on down range. Like stated above don't think a fixed will ever fly exact as field point over 80 but you can get em close. As season gets close I shoot only broadheads I like wac em and boss by wasp

Put a new Ultrex trolling motor on the boat. Which I would let go for another $500 with purchase of boat other wise will put old motor guide back on. Took first place last weekend out of this boat she can catch fish.

Thinking of shooting hevi-shot Magnum blend with same turkey choke we have used with standard lead loads. Will choke survive safely? Not sure of tungsten or what ever metal they use

Not sure if it will help but last year we glassed some up on a windy day in a cut out of the wind strutting away

May still hear a bull or two But we usually glass them on that hunt and have killed for than a few between landfill and east verde Should not have a problem locating a few herds of cows

I just want a pair that wont leak after hunting in snow for a day or two
