So I've found out I drew unit 8 late season rifle bull! I'm really excited, my 1st bull tag! & Dad's 1st big game! Anyone with experience on this hunt that cpould give me some pointers & advice. Also I'm considering a scouting service (price range $300 or so) to increase our odds. Never hunted the unit and not lookin for trophys ( but I wont pass ) just want to get my 1st bull on the ground & more importantly see my Dad knock one out! Any help is always appreciated and best of luck to all you lucky elk hunters who also drew a tag!!!! May the elk flock to you like the swallows of Capastrano!

I'm looking for an elk hunting guide for my Dad & I. 2 on 1 guided. Really want Father to get a bull. Not trophy hunters. Cheapest I've found is $3600. Anybody know someone else cheaper that does a good job. Just looking @ options& really want to see Pops get his 1st bog game. Thanks, Gut Pile

I've been considering a scouting service for my elk hunt this year. A package runs $300. I work at a lake so summer is real hard for me to get out and scout as much as I'd like to. Also my father has never killed a big game animal. We've hunted every year together, but I really want him to bag his first Elk. Opinions and advice is so greatly appreciated! Since joining this site years ago I've made so many great friends. Love my CWT family. Any help would be awesome!

Gonna try a DYI Doe/Fawn speedgoat hunt in Wyoming. Does anyone Know some units on the west with good access and lots of goats. Never hunted Pronghorn so 1st timer there too. I see unit numbers on the site but they breakdown to areas by name and I get confused. Any help is appreciated. Deadline for draw is March 15th. Thanks Gut Pile
