  1. Tickets went on sale this morning and close at 9:00pm tonight. Should be pretty good odds. https://www.azsci.com/product-page/azsci-6-5-day-2020-ticket
  2. AZSCI is hosting their annual fundraiser on June 27th at Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson. Obviously, the event is going to look a little different than what you might be used to; can't put hundreds of people in one room and serve them food these days! So, here is what you can expect to see. -Free admission to see all the guns and hunting gear available in the raffles and silent auction The current list of guns can be found here: https://www.azsci.com/fundraiser-guns -Doors will open by 2:00pm and winners will start getting announced around 6:00pm. You will not need to be present to win. -This will allow for the venue to operate under the required social distance guidelines. There will be plenty of room for people to spread out during the day (including the pool and bar). -"Stay and Play" packages that include a room at Ventana Canyon and raffle tickets are on sale now. Raffle ticket packages are basically 2 for 1 if purchased online before June 15th. You can view all of those packages and purchase them here: https://www.azsci.com/shop This is event is the primary source of funding for the chapter's annual Junior Deer Camp in 36A, 36B and 36C. Thanks for your support, CWT!
  3. To register for this camp, please contact Bobby at either 520-490-8367 or info@asci.com. Junior Deer Camp-November 22-24, 2019 • Location: Unit 36A, 36B & 36C-near Buenos Aires National Wildlife Refuge • Register: Bobby Boido, (520) 490-8367 or info@azsci.com The Junior Deer camp is an annual event that AZSCI puts on to help get youth excited about hunting and the outdoors. We will have mentors and guides as well as assistance from the Arizona Game and Fish Department. We try to partner every hunter with a guide if they need one. The chapter provides most of the food and drinks; we provide breakfast, lunch and dinner on Opening Day, breakfast and lunch on the second day of the hunt with dinner being a potluck* and breakfast on the third day of the hunt. *Of course, we will always have our delicious Dutch oven desserts! So please bring a main dish or side dish to share with the camp on Saturday night! Our camp location is big enough for all camping types from a tent to a fifth wheel so bring the whole family! If you have attended our camp in the past please note that we changed locations last year: The camp is now located on the Buenos Aires Refuge, at approximately Milepost 4, west of the town of Arivaca. The best landmark to use for the entrance is a communications tower on the south side of the Arivaca-Sasabe Highway.

    Youth Camp in 36A, 36B and 36C-AZSCI

Not sure why you felt the need to dump on a youth camp post. Maybe it was late. Guess it should be made clear: The chapter provides all those meals to the kids and their families for free. Chapter members volunteer a ton of time to get that camp ready, volunteer as mentors to make sure kids are safe and have the best chance possible to get a deer. There is no cost to participate in the camp.
  12. The Arizona Chapter of SCI is hosting a camp once again to serve the young hunters who drew tags for 36A, 36B and 36C. This is for the hunts that start the day after Thanksgiving. Camp is in a new location this year. It’s near Milepost 4 west of Arivaca on the Arivaca-Sasabe Highway. Look for the big tower on the south side of the road for the turn. The chapter provides breakfast, lunch and dinner on Friday. They also provide breakfast and lunch on Saturday. Dinner on Saturday is a potluck. For more info, visit www.azsci.com/events
