Smith & Wesson K38 Masterpiece

Recommended Posts

Has white ivory grips (not real ivory) and one side has a crack in it. Gun definitely has a little surface rust and patina, but I have a good feeling she'd polish up nicely. Comes with vintage Leather "The George Lawrence Co" holster. Asking $550 obo, located in Peoria. CW doesn't let me upload photos sometimes so if theres no photos and you're interested just shoot me a text, Nick at 6232100807.

You can go to Smith & wesson web and they can give you a full history of your gun with just the serial #

I'll try that again. I did go on before and it just kept giving me an error saying "the serial number you've entered is not valid for this consumer advisory".   Whatever that means lol.

Definitely a k38 biased on serial# its probably a early 50s gun .keep it away from any type of copper solve or copper type cleaner .older nickel guns were copper coated then nickel and you can get nickel lift and speckling from the copper letting loose of the nickel.
