Looks a lot like my dad’s that I learned on. When I was a kid we called it his “worm rod” since he usually fished plastic worms with it. Left-handed so it was like cranking a spinning reel…still doesn’t feel right when I use a right-handed casting setup. LoL

If you’re right handed the handle should be on the left. Then you don’t have to switch hands after the cast.

Then I’m an idiot and so are all the people I fished with growing up. I always thought it was dumb seeing guys switch hands after casting.

Reel came back and is in beautiful condition! I see what PRDATR means about adjusting the drag, I’ll have to practice casting after I set it now.
