IA Born Report post Posted March 13, 2023 I'll throw a plug for PAugie17's Savage Axis Muddy Girl. I got my daughter a Savage Axis compact 7-08 10 years ago. Its solid. The only thing I didn't like was the factory trigger. Before her first hunt, I put a Timney trigger in it and lights out. It has 4 different Barnes 140 gr TTSX handloads that are sub-moa and one factory load that's just under an inch.
