Edge Report post Posted May 10 Each end of season, the owners of Vulture City put on a banquet to thank their employees and volunteers for the towns growing success. The owners pick a deserving member to receive a gift of my choosing, made in the Vulture City Forge. There's only a few employees and maybe 40 volunteers. It's not difficult to figure out something they might like. I make my blades, axes and other items in pairs. There's always something to beat on and something in the fire. Should there be a major mistake made, I have a backup. 🫣 This years pick is a western reenactment entertainer whom sports what looks like a Pakistani made knife. His gift is a 15" Bowie knife made from an old sawblade (1040)? Elk horn scales found in GMU 9. I counter sunk the pins and filled the cavity with a pinch of 21kt Arizona placer gold for a different looking mosaic. At the last minute, the wife said I should do a grape vine.on the knifes spine. The smaller knife is a gift for my daughter on Mother's Day. 7
