AZLance Report post Posted June 23 I have a like new McMillan Tac 50 (LH) with NightForce NXS 5.5-22x56 scope with sun shield, and original tripod mounted on it. Gun and scope are like new with only some minor safe blemishes on it. Looking for $7,000 OBO, not interested in trades! This is the same gun as the gun with the world record sniper kill at 3,540 meters in Iraq in 2017. I am not the original owner, he was an elderly man who only took it to range a few times. Boarman03 Report post Posted June 23 BTW, it is important to make sure there nothing behind the target for about 5 miles. Target shooting in the desert is difficult for the same reason. And don't shoot anything close to you, within a couple of hundred yards, that a round can be reflected back from. One YouTube video showed a guying catching a ricochet with his ear protection. He must of had Angels watching over him that day!!!! Ammo is available for about $3.00 to $3.75 a rnd. I remember when it was less than $2.50. The youth ( and adults) enjoyed the big bang and the distance the round would produce! The M82A1 absorbs some of the recoil so it was similar to a 12 gauge to them. Just a longer "push".
