PRDATR Report post Posted August 10 Anyone use them? One of my sisters lives in a very rural part of Colorado and been getting visits from bears and lions leaving tracks on the driveway probably coming from the pond which is about 100 yards from the house. She is a few miles from town out in the stix. I thought a Spy Point would give them up to date pics since they have about 150 yards to take the trash cans out to the main road from the house. SonnyK Report post Posted August 13 I have a few that I run on rural property. I’ve had them since mid 2022 and they are still working fine. With their “free” package you get 100 low quality pictures over the internet per month. Even with the low quality pictures it is easy to tell what the critter is. I know I didn’t get the most expensive ones but maybe I did not get their “economy” model either. I think I have the Link-micro-LTE model. They run over the Verizon network. I am not sure what the lag time is between picture taken, sent and received. I dont believe its instant. When I catch myself on the cams it takes a few minutes for the picture to hit my phone. I run 7 or 8. Some models have video- battery life is excellent. Some delay occurs. (Depends on signal strength). I think *think* it's ATT
