Drilling quartz countertop

Recommended Posts

Any tips?  I need to drill a hole to accommodate an RO dispenser in my countertop. Use a diamond bit and keep it wet/cool.

It looks like 1/2” over OSB
anything else?

Oh and another thing I've read that quartz fabricators  now starting to get lung diseases so I would definitely wear a respirator have somebody spraying it down the whole time as you're doing it

diamond hole saw.  easy peasy. no need for wetting as you're really not cutting that much.  LOTS of dust so vac like the video guy did.  There is the potenerial for backside blowout but not that common.
