venison carne seca/jerky

Last week I was fortunate to help my brother in law with his mulie hunt in which he was successful and I got to bring some meat home. I used some of the meat to make Carne Seca or beef jerky. I rubbed it with garlic pepper and SalT and others I added CHILTEPIN to add a Nice kick to it. Can't wait to sit down and chew on this with a cold beer.

 

It will be ready in like 4-6 days B-)

All dehydrator for me now, but I remember as a kid climbing on top of the wood pile to steal a piece of Carne Seca from the string. Looks good
