Cowman Report post Posted April 9, 2014 We fished Apache all day saturday and sunday with not much to show for it. We caught a couple and missed a couple each day. Fished all over the lake and threw everything in the boat at them. Mostly plastics, lot's of different colors and options with a dropshot. Caught two on dropshot roboworm and two on a DT Hula Grub. Threw morning dawn, red crawler, ox blood, watermelon, green pumpkin, pumpkin, and shad/minnow imitations. We didn't sight fish the beds although there were lots of males up shallow and a few bigger females hanging nearby. Special thanks to Standman for his previous report. We caught a few based on his suggestions but for the most part couldnt get them to cooperate. Gorgeous weather and good place to get away for a weekend.
