Vitals Report post Posted August 28, 2014 I live in Glendale and am looking for a range where an average member of the public can shoot at least out to 300 yards. Does such a place exist? It seems there are some complicated User Group steps I'd have to go through in order to use Ben Avery range facilities out to that distance. Any help would be appreciated... PRDATR Report post Posted August 28, 2014 Adam, Rio shut down foot access to the 300 yard range a couple of years ago after an incident. Hoss50 Report post Posted August 30, 2014 If you are a member you can shoot 300 or 500 at Phoenix rod and gun. I was shooting 300 out there last weekend. You block off access to other ranges at 300 and 500 so your are supposed to limit your time on those ranges outside of planned times. It is down by south mountain off 7th ave.
