Sandhill Cranes at Whitewater Draw

Recommended Posts

I went down to Whitewater Draw with a friend and enjoyed hearing and seeing the thousands of Sandhill Cranes down there. Wow, what an experience! I have been there several times, but it never ceases to amaze me. This time we camped right there and got to listen to the cranes throughout the night. If you have never gone to experience the approximately 30,000 cranes that winter down there, you should plan a trip! They are likely to leaving to head north again soon.

Here are some pics and videos I took while there.
