Teriyaki elk

Had an elk roast and decided to try something different. Cut roast into thin slices and marinated for 48 hours. Grilled on the BBQ. Added a bed of rice with peas and carrots and a cold beer. Came out great!

 

Make sure to tenderize the slices, otherwise they'll be a little tough.

looks perfect except for the nasty peas! when i was a kid they would end up in my shoes and then straight into the toilet..lol
