Lunar Eclipse tonight

Recommended Posts

There will be a total lunar eclipse from about 3 am to 4 am (Aug 28), but if you want to see it progressing toward total, then get up earlier. Or you can watch it retreat I think after 4 am. I think it ends by about 5:30 am, so you might be able to watch from 4:30 to 5:30 and see it retreating.

Yeah I saw the end of it as well at 5:00 when i got up to do some hunting. Found a couple of shooter bucks today in 34b. Unfortunately I saw more of their rear ends than their antlers but I could tell that two of them were outside their ears for sure. Also a couple of retarded yotes. couldn't get them within 60 yards. but it was hilarious watching them try to figure out what this weird looking bush was screaming like a rabit at them for.

here are a few pics of it. I saw it as it went into total eclipse and then watched it recede.

Anyone else take some pics? I took them off several different optics (my video cam, my swaro 15's and my zeiss spotting scope).
