Just curious how many guys use these phones? Been thinking of getting one just for those hard to reach areas I seem to get in.

I just got through using one in the NWT the past two weeks. Kinda of costly to rent and use but if your just checking in with family or in case of emergency's it well worth the piece of mind. Let me know if you need a # of a rental place.

I'm needing one for an upcoming 10 day elk/muley hunt. Where did you rent yours from? and what can i expect to pay for a 14 day rental?

You might take a look at your phone and see if it can be forced into Analog especially if you are roaming, have all the bars and the call won't connect.

According to Ross Outdoor's web page, they rent them. I didn't see any pricing info so you'd probably have to call them. They're somewhere in Phoenix.

I rented mine from WCC 480-857-6656. They are on Alma School and about Warner. I think they were about $10.00 a day and $ 1.90 a min.
