Zeke-BE Report post Posted January 7, 2017 Thats what i've read and im only doing the line of sight and adding the degrees to the shooter app. But from what I've read the angle shots on the 1600B is just a chart it has loaded up to use. So you need to pick the one closes to it. Well at to 600 yards variables can change big time. Maybe not 400 yards. Even shooting 400 yards 15 degrees its not enough to change impact on a deer. I have shot out to 1000 yards at a 8 degree hill. I think it was really only about a couple of inches off. But shooting at 20-30 degrees you will shoot over its back. Ive read elsewhere that you will never get true exact shots using angle because the math comes out wrong (close but wrong). You need exact line of sight and exact degree. (from what Ive read, I would love see to others input on this) Does the Sig 2000 range finder have a better angle shooting program??
cjl2010 Report post Posted January 7, 2017 I thought the chart was only for the holdover option? Could be wrong
