I'm Ready for Quail Season to Start

I've been in the process of trying to clear out the floor freezer in order to (hopefully) make room for a cow elk in October. Eating as much venison, striped bass and hamachi kama as possible. Ended up finding a vaccuum sealed pack of 3 whole quail from last year. Decided to brine them overnight. Rubbed them up with the go-to chicken rub, then roasted them at 435* for about 15 min. Holy crap, I always forget how f-ing good those little birds are.

My favorite, its been 10yrs since I've gone, dam big game hunting is none stop. time to go back to my roots. looks tasty
