Got my mount back!

Well after what seemed like forever (only a little over 7 months) I got my 07 buck back. Needless to say I'm very happy with the end results and wanted to share it with everyone on coueswhitetail. Thanks for looking and hope you enjoy.

Well just for you firstcoueswas80 here's a field pic and a short story to go along with it.

 

This was only the second whitetail buck I seen after hunting for 8 days. First spotted him at 268 yards and ended up letting my excitement get the best of me. Missed the first shot and he decided it was time to leave. After trotting away he came out from behind a juniper and I was lucky enough drop him at 300 yrds. He ended up scoring around 85 and some change. Would have scored much better if it wasn't for his 10 3/4 inside spread but I couldn't be more pleased with him especially after hunting so hard. Best of luck to everyone on the up coming 08 draws.
