About Me

I was a Lifelong resident of AZ until late 2006 when I decided to "get out of Dodge". Well really I had seen the Phx metro area grow and change so much that it did not feel like home anymore. It was getting harder to get drawn for game and the AGFD was not worrying about the wildlife as much as they worried about their revenues. So, we moved to Wyoming and built our own home. We talked about retirement to Wyoming anyway so we just moved here early and are so getting ready for the leisure days. So you ask, Why move to Wyoming? There are less people in this entire state than most any city in the valley and it feels like a smalltown used to. There are very few problems with crime or other issues plaguing the border states here in the cowboy state .

Here, You can go hunting for many animals without drawing a tag, there is little to no pollution, friendly people, clean air, no traffic jams, beautiful scenery, no income taxes, most people are conservative (I read there are less than 70k Registered Dems in the whole state) plus a host of other reasons that make me wish I'd made the move sooner. The real west still is alive in Wyoming.

Living where I do, I commute a long way to work for a major outdoors retailer but I really enjoy the work, and it's in a field I enjoy and I also travel to lots of locations in the process of doing the job. It's true, AZ is not my home anymore but will always be part of my memories. Wishing we had some Coues deer in Wyoming is something I'd like to change, but maybe I'll have to put in for one of those covetted NR tags in AZ to get my fix. Until that tag is drawn, I'll stay in touch at CWT.com

Peace Out!
