Good deal ! I've already got one ar healeys along with a omega 300 but for the price it might be time to add another.

You guys are lucky ! Try and find a long draw bow . Everything is 31 or 31.5 max then your hunting for a bow in the 32/ 34 range . Arrows get tough as they flex and cork screw if there not a heavy spine . Last bow a mathews monster 7 and two dozen arrows was 2200 plus tax and most all the add on stuff came off my old bow .

I've bought and sold many items on here and most go great . But a few don't and it is frustrating when things don't go as they should . I've had guns sold out from under me even with a deal made . I've waited for a member to pick up free items only to be left waiting with no response . I've been bashed for selling a gun after the person didn't respond . At the end of the day it's still your item to sell or there's and there's always another deal . It just seems some are not men of there words . I always let people know that there's a deal going and try to follow up with everyone even after it's done so the next guy has an idea that the item has sold . Just me trying to do the right thing.

Don't miss out on the second early bird draw for a winchester wildcat 22lr . It comes with plenty of ammo and a case and a scope and rings . Deadline for the early bird is the last day of the month and I'll be pulling a winner the first week in May. See the contest and giveaway section for the rules and how to enter your kids.

Just because it's a communist state and a sanctuary state doesn't mean it's all bad. California has some stupid ridiculous regulations for ammo ,guns, and supplies so it's probably not a good idea to buy from the guy even if he's legit . They can't ship powder w/o a hazmat .

Any good way to estimate what a broken bull would have scored??
Crazymonkey replied to bowhunter-tw's topic in Elk Hunting
Next time don't shoot the horns off aim lower and more towards the pocket right behind the shoulder. Cool bull but probably no way to know what he was like before without pics. -

It was probably about 10 minutes in . I was using a hs strut raspy old hen box call. I had a bird responding and working my way then it went quiet. I figured maybe I over called so I picked up my decoys and hit the call one more time and out the bear stepped. When he got to twenty I figured I'd better back out slowly . Had my 10mm with me as I seem to have had a spell of running into bears .

A bear coming in to your call at 30 yds will get your attention quickly. I now get a otc tag just in case . It will probably never happen again .

Doing a pork shoulder in the crock pot for some pulled pork . The shoulder is from the pig I shot in California . Doing the Dr pepper thing . Seasoned it good last night and put it in the fridge. 7 or 8 hours and we will see.

That's a great ride !! After owning a 4runner then a jeep wrangler jk I try and tell everyone what a pile the jeep is compared to about anything . They look cool but every rock finds the front glass . Usually 3 a year .They have multiple issues from the junk heads that fail to the oil pumps that are a two stage design and get stuck . Then you've got the rocker arm and lifters that fail and take out the cams . The thermostat that requires replacing regularly as it trips a code for the engine not warming up fast enough. The oil filter adapter cracks and will send water or oil down the back of the transmission. They are extremely labor required . You can look up all the issues mentioned for yourself there's plenty on the jeep forums . I'd hate to see you get rid of a awesome ride and get into something with so many known issues . I really should have just bought another 4runner

Some turkey from the muzzleloader elk hunt with dad

I know it's not a gun most would spend any time or money on but it's what the wife wanted a sks . I had one when we first got together over 25 years ago. Now I'm making it hers with a new stock . I'm still fitting and waiting for the matching hand guard . It still needs cerakote in some sort of pink and grey/ black .

I bought 4 calls from Jacob ( IA born's son ) there all just a little different and they sound great . I sent one to my dad ,one to his buddy Aaron in Texas who let's me come out to his place and hunt for free and the other to my buddy Chuck who came out to give me a hand on my dad's and Aaron's elk hunt The last one I kept for myself hopefully I'll get it figured out 100% before I get another turkey tag.

I'm looking for a shop to do a 4 wheel alignment on my ram 2500 4x4 . My wife thought it was a good idea to have Big-0 do it. Needless to say it's not right and the steering wheel is off center about 1/4to 1/2 turn . Yes it's usually a simple fix to adjust the drag link to center the wheel but Ram in all there wisdom thought welding the adjuster nuts to the adjuster was the answer to the recall for the link coming loose. The truck is a 2018 diesel 4x4 I'm on the east side of town in Gilbert. Really don't want to take it to the stealership for anything that they would plug into the computer for the emissions recall for. They are doing this as the trucks come in for service.
