Fellow close to home hunters beware! I have only been out 4 or 5 times so far and twice ive ended up on phone with sheriff and phx pd due to the trash (guns/drugs/illegals) that make their way to edge of town.. last year i found dead dog taped in $120 cooler thrown off a cliff, this year abused animals now confiscated by sheriff and being treated for the near death condition i found them in and owners being charged.. last night it was very suspicious car with little kids backpacks in back seat and i was thinkin foul play but few hours later and calls to pd officer told me to get my gun and i becme back-up while guys were being pulled from cars and guns and dope... so just beware of what you might happen to bump into. from carefree hwy to table mesa is getting hit hard with illegals and drug traffic/idiot meth heads with guns shooting accross flat ground and withing the no centerfire areas.. remember to gangbanger living in the city anthem is the wild west! so not a suprise bodies get dumped at dixiletta or table mesa so be prepared to find them in middle also. Not everybody stops and stick their nose in as i do but i think if we did in a safe way we could help our P.D. TAKE CARE OF SOME OF THIS MESS.. and for those who dont stick their nose in please remember it is not always a choice you make! you might just find yourself neck deep im a drug deal simplyby taking wrong dirt rd or walking wrong wash. Funny cuz it started just as stupid joke i kinda forgot how many hunters could care less if archers get jacked. maybe we should have a archery only area for all topics and rifle hunters need not bother opening any of the threads.. oh wait it was your choice to open them wherever they were correct? my bad on the classifieds but as for the others the crap g & f is pulling applied to all those.. if your happy with them and they make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside then why bother reading and of those posts? and if i say like tags or not why elaborate on how stupid we must be for not liking the whole stupid deal?? Oh and i got all my tags on 31st but sure feel bad for all who did not.. i was wondering how people would feel if they went to drop applications off on deadline day and learned they changed to monday instead of tue.. i know last year when they extended deadline i sure was upset considering i was broke and could not apply for lope so dropped bonus point app off then they extended a week and i could have afforded to apply then.. so congrats to all who were able to apply after set deadline and wonder how many others got screwed as i did?? have a gr8 day all and enjoy your future with az g & f and az forestry

Just nowhere near enough police for level of filth in our country but sure is alot of us. and area i spoke of the officer i talked with said they do not enforce shooting within city limits.. see now they are confused and dont know that only shotguns allowed in those areas and centerfire is not . major boom/explosion yesterday also and ploom of smoke and most disturbing part was that it was not at base of mountain it was in flats meaning even if it was one of those exploding targets they were shooting accross the flats.

L.O.L. YES I THOUGHT ABOUT IT I MUST ADMIT BUT IM AFRAID THAT BABY WAS GONNA STINK FOREVER! The beautiful cooler is what led me down in the was.. then the smell so i was a bit afraid about what was inside so called P.D. and when they arrived and went on hike with me they then sat back and agreed that it was oficially the wierdest call of the week!

Yes i agree with that for sure. and i think if we started new topic each time we would need a area out of clssifieds to do it or whole page would be pay it forward real quick. Howsomever its pretty cool.

Sounds past tense, so no more farm fields we can hunt? some how i tend to ask the wrong farmers but dang i know they dont likejavelina or pigs of any brand. i think hunting farmers like deer so you might have to consider promising to only shoot pigs not deer-just a thought. had a farmer in aguila recently get very protective of "his deer"

Excellent deer! and i also have learned to let the hunter choose their own trophy it is much better that way. ive seen my son pass on spikes and take a spike so it is all in the heart and eye of the shooter. congrats to your daughter and i would have shot her buck every day of the week!

I got a good deal on this so figure I'd pass that good deal to someone else. I just wanna know if it kicked like a mule ??? my 84m 308 is wicked on the reconstructed shoulder and immediately gives you appreciation those heavy guns i always complained about carrying. good thing whitey is tough!

Kudos to kidso and to all who track wounded animals! sometimes we find them sometimes we dont. the only person who can make the call to keep hunting is the shooter/tracker.. i shot a bear years back and while tracking it few hours in stumbled upon a lion and chose not to shoot.. 2 days tracking later no bear and no lion.. still no lion 10-15yrs or so later.. sure now i wish i would have shot but chose differently while FRESH on blood if i had already exhausted my efforts kitty would have been dead. ;-) Need more piggy pics guys my aching bones having hard time getting out to hunt much so living vicariously through you all! Ps! if anybody having difficulty with a uncooperative herd close to town (26) give me a shout maybe i can help get your arrow in flight as long as mine can fly 2nd. good luck to all! Now if we could get all the guys that shoot 500+ yards and just assume they missed the animal (elk) to go look for blood before they continue to hunt we would be getting somewhere. ;-)
