    WTB KelTec CP33

This is one reply that came up from calguns.net when I googled his e-mail address. If someone looks up your email from your member's background page, then proceeds to make an offer by contacting you directly via email for goods based upon posts/offers/inquiries you've made on a listing, CONSIDER THEM A POTENTIAL SCAMMER. DO NOT LET DOWN YOUR GUARD SIMPLY BECAUSE YOU SEE LE CREDENTIALS. Verify. I was almost fooled, but realized I needed to double-check with the DEPT in question, just to be sure. Sure enough.. Impersonating an officer. Criminal. christopherthomas9173@gmail.com was the suspect.

    WTB KelTec CP33

Hello all, I just edited my WTB add and removed my personal e-mail because I had a possible scammer reply. He's obviously not a member of coueswhitetail. I just want to give all a heads up of what this guy's e-mail is and what his username is on another site. The guy sent me pics of a nice cp33 with some accessories he had for sale. His price was good and he wanted an FFL transfer, etc. Here's his email address Christopherthomas9173@gmail.coms username is Goodegen which I found from another site. google the e-mail address as I did and see what you think. I'm still looking for a CP33. Who should I buy new from here as well? Thanks, John

Hi All, been awhile since I posted. I've been visiting here off and on. I recently retired so I'll have more free time to visit here and hopefully contribute. Anyway I'm looking for a CP33 in decent condition. Let me know if you have something for me. Thanks in advance, John

crappie turning on at san carlos

I read a couple reports from this past weekend from different sites. I guess it was pretty windy on Sun and just a handful of boats landing a few fish at best. Hopefully this warming trend will kick start the bite. The water level is almost exactly where it was at it highest level last year with more snow melt to come. John

crappie turning on at san carlos

First off, thanks for the reports all, I'm getting excited with all the new water this year. How's the road into Mohave or the drop off into the SC arm? Thanks in advance, John

    San Carlos & Apache Report

Thanks for the fishing reports Brian, especially the Carlos one. Been wanting to get up there. It looks like the level needs to come up about 11ft to make it to the highest it got to last year. http://waterdata.usgs.gov/az/nwis/dv?cb_00...erred_module=sw Who would of thought we would be at this level after seeing the lake in early Dec at 2 %. The lake has come up 40ft since Jan 1st! Pretty exciting as I thought we were going to lose the lake! John

    Black River

I'd go in early July before the monsoons come. The roads can get pretty messy during the rains. Do the pack in deal and carry some protection for the bears in the area. Make sure you camp on the SC side as your allowed to carry there and not the WM side. Have a blast and take some pics for us.
  9. Good luck on your hunt Jim. Maybe we'll run into each other in the lower lands, no overnight hikes for me. I'll hike all day if there's an awesome lake to fish at the end of the trail though! John
  10. Hey Jim, I was constantly looking for snakes as I pretty much had my nose to the ground till I stopped walking to take a breather or glass a little, or both. We never saw any but I'm afraid your going to step on one before you see it, that's how thick this stuff was. Snake don't bother me as long as I can see them. What day you going up Jim? I'm hoping to be there Wed afternoon.
  11. Great info guys, thanks for the input. The Parker's Perfect sounds like what I'll try as it was ok'd by the Swaros techs. My bino's in question are their 15x56's, and they seem to be pretty sweet once they cleared up, I was just concerned about what to use on them to help this problem. Any ideas on where to buy the spray near Tempe/ASU? I found their website and they have an online special that I might try. elkhunter, It was really wet in 35b as you mentioned. I had a puddle on my bag when I woke up. The tall grass we walked through was as high as your thighs in spots and wet. There was some type of weed/flower that attached to your clothes and you had to peel it off constantly. Mosquitoes' were out all day. It was some tough walking. You couldn't pick your legs up high enough to get over the vegetation, you just kind of shuffled through it. Yah I know, kinda sounds like a whine to me too! Once that grass dries off it's going to be a scary fire season. Thanks for the info, John
  12. Hi All, so this is the first season scouting with my new bino's. First thing in the morning all 4 lenses were fogged up and pretty much useless for the first 20 minutes of glassing. I put them on the tripod and pointed them at the morning sun and watch the fog slowly dissipate. The fog was on the outside of the lenses, not inside. I left them out in the elements the night before instead of putting them in the tent so they would at least be the same temp. It wasn't cold at all either, 5,000 elevation, 35B near Sonotia. These are good glasses and was told this shouldn't happen. Any ideas on how to prevent this? Is there a lenses safe anti-fog spray that could be applied? BTW, saw plenty of bucks and the first critter I spotted was a bear, really cool! Thanks in advance, John
  13. First, thanks for the responses. I have the Jim White quick release on the binos and I was checking out his gyro pistol systems online. Pretty expensive. Are they worth the extra coin? What are you paying for. I think they were lighter for one. Thanks, John
  14. It's mounted between the tripod and bino's. Squeeze the trigger and you can move the bino's 180 degrees. Release the trigger and it locks into place. Looking to spend less than $150. Any suggestions. Sportsman Warehouse had a couple. The tripod is a Nikon and the bino's are 15x56 Swarovski's, if that matters on the brand selection available. Thanks in advance, John
