SPF I have a used left hand Montana Black Gold "Ascent" site for sale. It is third axis, has five .19" pins and the last pin floats. You can get a tape printed out based on your bow's speed etc and use the last pin to shoot at further distances. I think the cheapest you will find these sites new online is $145 or so. SPF

On the second day of the archery season colton arrowed the buck we have been chasing for a year. Last year we both missed shots at this buck that colton named Buddy. This year colton found him in the same spot and he had put on a lot of mass. Colton watched this buck grow for about a month before the season. Opening day he was able to sneak to within 60 yards of Buddy bedded in some thick trees but could never get a shot. The second evening Colton was able to get a shot off and it found its mark. The buck ran about 200 yards downhill and died. This is one of the heaviest deer I have ever seen and the pictures don't do it justice. It is an awesome muley of a lifetime and it will be hard to beat. Colton put his time in and deserved to finally get this buck on the ground. Congrats Colton, I am glad I got to be a part of it.

What a blazing hot day! watched this buck for 3 Weeks,he had one doe with him the entire time.He was definately rutting as he chased off any of the many smaller bucks cruisin his territory. The blind me and my buddy Todd had set up weeks earlier had been completely destroyed so we set up a new one the day before the opener with this buck watching us the entire time from a couple of hundred yards away.Got into the blind at 4AM after a 3mile bike ride in the dark.He came in at noon from the rear of the blind at caught me by suprise. He scooted out to 40 yards and I took the shot in about a 20 mph crosswind. My arrow drifted a couple of inches and got him in the liver. He bolted and continued to run about a half mile and out of my line of sight.I ran to ridge and could only see one small buck in the valley and not this one. Went back to blind and retreived my arrow which was covered in blood,Not a single drop of blood on the ground to follow. I returned to the ridge and systematically began to glass the valley. After a half hour or so and becoming a little worried I noticed with my eyes a tiny white fleck about 3/4 of a mile away.I gassed the spot and could not tell for sure so I beat a path towards it.About halfway i glassed again and could see a leg. You could have punched me,I was on cloud nine and ran like heck.Thank God for giving me the will to not stop looking in the heat. He had bedded down and bled out then died in a thick patch of chollas. For the first time in my hunting days I actually got heat blisters on my feet through my boots. He rough scored 82 inches. Cant wait to get some steaks for the grill. Did not get good pic at kill site, camera was in blind and I had to gut him and get to locker, thats why he is in the tall grass to hide the belly.

Well I have always wanted to hunt the Kaibab (bucket list) and this year I managed to pull an archery tag. I consider myself to be a pretty good all around hunter and if given the time and the money to drive back and forth I could figure the area out and locate some nice bucks, or the areas that hold some larger deer, but I have neither so any help or tips would be greatly appreciated. I am pretty knowledgeable on the whitetails around Tucson and could help someone out on a hunt around here, units 33, 34A, 35, 32, 36 A, B, C, Not looking for anyone’s honey hole, just some good recommendations on where to start. Thanks

Hey everyone I need your help. I am posting on all forums about this PLEASE keep your eyes and ears open for anyone who may have recently come up/found/stole a Quest Primal Hunting Bow today at Ben Avery Archery Range in Phoenix, Arizona. It was lost/stolen between 10am and 1230pm today at the range. A person I would like to talk to that was there was driving a silver Dodge Ram 4x4 with a rear window decal for Hunt Africa with an AZ phone number. They were the only ones at the range today beside me while I was there and would like to know if they seen anything or may have taken it thinking the owner left it, hopefully with the intention of finding the rightful owner. This is very important to me as it was gift from my father and I have an upcoming Bull Elk hunt this September . PLEASE PLEASE if you here anything coming out of AZ let me know. Thanks.

Does anyone know of a good archery instructor that is giving lessons in the East Valley Area?

I'm considering a San Carlos unit D November tag. I'm used to spot & stalk muley archery hunting. Has anyone hunted here? How is it? I prefer to backpack in and stay for a few days. Is there any where that anyone would suggest starting? Should I even buy the tag? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
