Powder actuated nail gun WTT looking for

Recommended Posts

Anyone have a spare powder actuated nail gun so I can nail studs into a concrete floor?  I can buy or trade 9mm, 45ACP, 6.5 Creedmoor 143 ELDX.
Preferably one ready to go, functioning with the 22 blanks and nails. TIA

All good I’m learning for sure. I’m building a small insulated  room 12-16 in the basement of my cabin. Nothing major, no plumbing but I’ll wire it. Use it for extra sleeping quarters.  I’ll take all the advice available. O yea it’s in major snow country.

FYI, for Old concrete you may be better off drilling and using Redheads instead of Ramsets. Ramsets may just shatter and chip the concrete.

Tapcons work well.

Actually cheaper as well. Drill your hole to the proper size, cleanaway the dust, and run your tapcon. You can drill through your wood, but better to use wood bit for that. Then a concrete hammer drill and drill bit, canned air or air compressor, or shop vac., with eyes and breathing protection, and then run your tapcon. You could use liquid nails underneath the base plate as well.

This also works for replacing tack strips for carpet on old concrete.

Redheads were a predecessor to Tapcons. I guess it  goes with my age.
