Crazymonkey Report post Posted May 14 Need a shop to fix the tranny in my 2018 ram 6.7 . I'm getting a p0871 code for fluid pressure switch. It looks like the fix is usually a upgrade to the pressure valve. I'm in gilbert and absolutely don't want it going to a dealership for anything.

Roofer Billy Report post Posted May 15 Phil's transmission shop. In Mesa. Family owned and been around for over 50 plus years. Off of Broadway and just east of Country Club. My family has used them for years. Very honest and do go work.

100Shots Report post Posted May 20 I’ve seen a few Rams throw that P0871. Definitely sounds like the valve body/pressure switch thing. I’m with you on avoiding the dealership. Try checking out Pro-Tech Transmissions or even Automatic Transmission Exchange in Mesa—both have decent reviews and know their way around these trucks. hunt crazy in ca Report post Posted May 21 Hopefully you have stopped driving it. I would call Randy's transmission in Utah and get there baby maker VB kit and put it in and hope you didn't do any clutch damage...... Are you running tunes? That is another huge thing with the 68..... Either way Id call Randys and talk to the guy there they will set you up
catclaw Report post Posted May 23 Phil's in Mesa had been great for me abs a few buddies but had had bad reviews as well. I always took the transmission to him and this let him do what he did best. Phil died so but sure who is running it now.

Phil lost his wife about a year or more ago. Then found out he had cancer and passed away. He died the same day as my grandma. The boys are taking care of the business now. Still very excellent work. Rest in peace Phil🙏
